GOST INSIGHT Systems

The GOST INSIGHT system is the only monitoring system on the market with two-way voice communication, wireless security/monitoring and onboard video surveillance. INSIGHT’s surveillance offers local and remote access to cameras on the vessel, using any computer with an internet connection or a web enabled mobile phone. The system can also record snap shots or short video clips to the website in the event of an alarm and send text messages or emails to users. The users can then login to the website to view those snap shots or video clips as well as view live streaming video off the vessel. The system has personalised, reliable and individually voice labelled wireless sensors, monitoring: intrusion, high water, AC power loss, low battery power and more. Using third generation wireless technology the GOST INSIGHT is proven and reliable.

The GOST INSIGHT has features that no other system offers. For example, the GOST INSIGHT has up to four wireless relays, which can control any AC or DC powered device on board. These are 5 amp relays that can even be used to control larger load applications by triggering a high current relay.

Another feature of these relays is that they can be controlled from the programmable button on the systems key fob remote controls. This is particularly useful when returning to the vessel after dark. Imagine being able to turn on the deck lights in an unfamiliar marina to find your boat, and then upon arriving, being able to turn the lights on in the salon prior to boarding. The GOST INSIGHT not only provides the owner peace of mind when they are away from their boat, but also adds several automated conveniences when using the boat.

The wireless aspect of the system is also one of its big selling points. Due to the ease of installation, this is especially true in after market sales. In the past when boaters wanted to add a security system to their boat, the installation could easily cost more that the system itself. The only wiring required on the GOST INSIGHT connects the main control panel and cellular communicator or GPS antenna to power and the rest of the system operates off two AA, two AAA or one 9V battery. Another great feature is the notification when the batteries are getting low so there is never a time when the boat goes unprotected. We recommend changing the batteries once a year, just as you would your home smoke detector. The GOST INSIGHT transmits on 433 MHz and 868 MHz and is a FCC security only listed frequency and will not interfere with any other RF device onboard the vessel. This is in stark contrast to previous wireless systems that could interfere with other systems on the boat, and be easily fooled by savvy criminals.

The call out feature is something else that boaters enjoy. This is accomplished by using GSM cellular technology. This allows our customers to take their boat anywhere in the world and simply buy a prepaid SIM card, insert it in the communicator and they are ready to go. The owner does not have to enter into a service contract, and can keep it prepaid through any GSM provider of their choice.

The security features of the GOST INSIGHT are accomplished with several sensors we use to provide complete protection. The system specified uses dual optical PIR Detectors for added protection, these are truly PET immune (patented by Paradox) and not plagued with false alarms.

The standard door contact that is included in all of our packages has a dual purpose. It not only utilizes a magnetic switch, but it can also be used to monitor any normally open/normally closed loop sensor. This is just another example of how the product differentiates itself from the competition. Additional sensors are available; they are: an ultra small hatch sensor and a larger, long range door contact for vessels over 150 feet. Photoelectric (Infra-red) beam sensors for those hard to protect areas where a motion detector is not practical. These are particularly useful for protecting cockpit and fly bridge areas.

The GOST INSIGHT GPS DVR system is the Premium package containing everything in the GOST INSIGHT package with the addition of a GPS Satellite Tracker and an Ultra compact IP DVR.

This top of the range system allows you to monitor key conditions of your vessel e.g. water ingress, low voltage and  smoke detection. Wireless Security protecting and alerting you of unwanted intruders on your vessel. Video Surveillance to capture event on your vessel for insight to what is going on onboard when an alarm is tripped. The Ultra compact, IP DVR allows users to view everything that has happened on the vessel for the previous 30 days, 24/7 from up to 4 cameras. The ultra compact, IP DVR will record and store 250GB of data and video for 30 days at a time. Archived clips can also be downloaded and saved to a computer. GPS Tracking; so that in the event your vessel is moved by unauthorised people you can track it's movements and inform relevant emergency services to attend. Track the vessel’s location anywhere in the world over Inmarsat based GPS Satellites. When armed, the tracking system creates a 500 meter geo-fence (radius) around the vessel. In the event the boat is stolen, the system will send emails and text messages to up to 10 people, every 15 minutes (programmable from 2 min to 30 min) with the vessel’s exact latitude, longitude speed & heading.  The GPS will also report when the system is armed, disarmed or goes into alarm over the Inmarsat Satellite Network and will report a "General Alarm" when a security or monitoring sensor is activated when there is no mobile phone network coverage.

The GOST GMM-INSIGHT-GPS system includes everything in the GOST INSIGHT package with the addition of an Inmarsat based GPS Satellite Tracker. This tracker enables you to locate the exact position of the vessel anywhere in the world and track its every move 24/7 from any computer or cell phone with internet access. In the event the boat is stolen, the system is designed to alert the owner and up to 9 other recipients with an email and/or text message. When armed, the system creates a 500 meter geo-fence (radius) around the vessel. If the vessel moves outside the GOEFence, the system will immediately send emails and text messages to up to 10 people, every 15 minutes (programmable from 2 min to 30 min) with the vessel’s latitude, longitude, speed & heading. INSIGHT GPS will report when the system is armed, disarmed or goes into alarm.
