Managing Director Andrew Watson comments, “We are delighted to be exhibiting at the London boat show for the first time this year. The exclusive line of products we are bringing to market offer easy to install turnkey solutions for all privately owned boats, no matter what shape or size. But we can also offer a more bespoke package to suit whatever specific needs you may have, to address a particular requirement or complement your existing systems.”

Demon Alert is also delighted to announce its support of the "Maricuda Atlantic Project" –

This exciting marine challenge will be launched from the Demon Alert stand (North Hall, Stand A6) on 7th January 2011 at 16:30hrs.

The challenge is to win the Blue Riband and Hales Trophy in 2013 with an 80m (262ft) long wave-piercing trimaran is to be constructed in the UK - It has automated fast-response hydraulic systems and dynamic attitude-sensing controls. Powered by two gas turbines this exciting all-weather craft will carry a fuel load sufficient to complete the 3000 mile Trans-Atlantic crossing in under two days. The MAC hull design has been dubbed, ‘The Concorde of the Seas’…

Demon Alert will provide the 'Automatic Sea Vision' system enabling the crew to avoid objects on the water that would scupper the challenge - Items such as sea containers, trees and of course other vessels.  The system uses thermal imaging cameras and software that will track up to 200 objects on the sea's surface at any one time.  It alerts the crew to any potential hazard, giving them proactive time to make course alterations. The boat will be secured with our specialist security systems.

Watson concludes, "Our support of this exciting challenge demonstrates our commitment to ensuring all boats and their crews are kept safe and sound, whether in port or on the high seas".

See Demon Alert in North Hall, stand number A6 at the London International Boat Show 2011 between 7th and 16th January 2011.
